I'm Back!

Hey all,

I'm back in Pittsburgh and ready to dish out exciting stories from my Texas trip. And to let y'all know that Ashlee Simpson is going to do a song with Robert Smith from the Cure.

I do apologize for creating business n'at withdrawal across the country. My fancy hotel room in Dallas wanted to charge The Man $10 a day for an internet connection, and if there's one thing The Man is not is a sucker. I had a terrycloth robe, Starbucks coffee in the room, and double shower-heads but no internets. The Man knows business travel and that's over the line.

Anyhooters, it was a really tiring week. Conferences always suck the life out of you, and along with the pressure of acting professional, meeting most of the other consultants for the first time, and endless meatacular meals The Man was ready for a vacation when he was released from official work duties Thursday afternoon (our company attended the Association for Fund Raising Professionals International Conference Sunday - Tuesday, and had our company conference Wednesday - Thursday afternoon). Luckily I had thought ahead and scheduled a vacation, a long weekend in Austin with Adale. Both the conference and fun time in Austin were worthwhile endeavors, but I am ready to get back to the business of business n'at.
