RANDOM CRAP with GREGGY

This picture was taken at a family reunion on my mom's side of the family, The Moon's, at a beach house in South Carolina, maybe at Edisto Beach. This photo provides clear evidence of one of the many sacrifices our nation made in the face of economic stagnation in the 1970's - drastic rationing in the amount of material allotted for shorts.

Oh shit... I can't figure it out-- which one are you?

Standing, blue short-shorts?

Yep, I'm fifth from the right, standing with the white t-shirt & dark shorts. The strikingly handsome 11 year old. My brother is the white-blond kid crouching below me, and my mom has sunglasses & the blue shirt next to him. She looked so much like her sister (they're not twins) that I always got them confused as a kid. Luckily that wasn't such a big deal during that vacation, but it did cause a rucus when I was nursing.

I think you should bring back the short shorts.
